Ramin Ahadi is a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, where he conducts research on smart information systems for sustainable electricity and mobility system at Institute of Energy at University of Cologne (EWI) under supervision of Professor Wolfgang Ketter.
Ramin holds a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, where he completed both as the top 5% of students.
During his master level, he worked in the field of electric mobility and finished his master thesis titled “ Optimal locating of electric vehicle charging stations” in July 2018. Part of his research published in 15th Iran International Industrial Engineering Conference, Yazd University 2018.
Ramin gained profound knowledge in optimization and machine learning while doing his master thesis. After his studies, he worked as a researcher and a supervisor of Master students in SPOM Lab at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
In 2019, Ramin was awarded a doctoral scholarship at EWI and joined to Professor Ketter’s team where his focus lies on the interaction between electric mobility and smart electrical grid.
