Philipp Kai Peter
Curriculum Vitae
Philipp Peter is a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne. He works on mobility intelligence issues at Professor Wolfgang Ketter’s Chair for Information Systems for Sustainable Society.
Philipp received both BSc and MSc in Information Systems at the University of Cologne. In his Bachelor, Philipp was awarded a spot on the Dean’s List. For his Master, Philipp became member of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. In 2019/2020, he completed a semester abroad at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where he collected experience in transportation economics, behavioral economics and discrete event simulation.
In 2021, Philipp joined Professor Ketter’s chair. His research focus lies on sustainable transport information systems. For this, he focuses on the multidisciplinary combination of information systems, computer science, transportation science and economics.
Philipp is mainly working on the MIAAS project (see miaas.de). He also co-supervises Bachelor’s and Master’s theses in his areas of expertise.
